Or would you like to experience a 4 day gastronomic feast as you are shown around the beautiful Marche region? Would you like a traditional wedding party in a marquee with 50 guests sitting down to a 5 course banquet followed by live music and partying into the night; or perhaps you would rather have a more intimate affair with just your closest family and friends? These are just some examples of events we have organised for our delighted customers at Casal dei Fichi. |
For the more physically inclined we can offer guided walks at all levels, both in the Sibillini mountains and through the beautiful rolling hills. Mountain biking, horse riding, thermal spas, sailing, hot air ballooning and scuba diving are all available in the region.

Casal dei Fichi has 6 luxurious one bedroom self contained apartments, some of which have double sofa beds so we can accommodate up to 20 people. In addition we can recommend and organise other places to stay nearby such as bed and breakfasts, small hotels and other self catering apartments. Each of our apartments has it's own private garden or terrazza and there are extensive landscaped grounds and external facilities. |
Your Wedding or Civil Partnership.
For wedding couples we can help you organise the technical and legal aspects of your wedding in Italy, either a Civil or Catholic ceremony. If you have already been married by a Catholic priest we can organise a blessing in the beautiful village church. Alternatively you may want to have the legal formalities in the UK and the celebration with an informal service here in Italy - which can be as formal or informal as you chose.
Although civil partnerships cannot yet be performed legally in Italy that's no reason why you can't come here to celebrate your union with your friends and family. Naturally you will be guaranteed a warm welcome from us, our experience was that the local community was delighted we had chosen to celebrate our union here, as reflected by the generous gifts and enthusiastic reception we had from the many people who joined us to celebrate.
We have a completely flexible approach to organising weddings and CP celebrations and will work with you to create what you want for your special day. We are of course happy to supply a range of ideas and suggestions from which you can pick and choose as you like.
We understand that this is perhaps the most important day of your life and you want everything to be perfect. You may want to plan everything in precise detail or you may be happy to leave that to us, but on the day you will want to know that you can relax and savour every moment whilst your special event runs like clockwork.
In the initial planning stages we will happily work with you via e-mail and phone to get an understanding of the type of wedding you would like, how formal you would like the reception and any special requirements you may have; we can then give you an indicative cost. If you feel that Casal dei Fichi could provide the type of event that you are looking for we will happily provide you with a couple of nights free accommodation (outside the peak summer months). At this important time we can get to know each other and we can listen to what you want and what you don't! We can show you the facilities we offer and introduce you to the people who will be helping make your day so memorable. We feel confident you will be enchanted by the beauty of the region and impressed by our attention to detail in creating a wonderful experience for you and your guests. Following this we would put together a detailed fixed quote.
On the day of your wedding we will be permanently on hand in the background so that all you have to worry about is enjoying yourselves. Here is a list of some of the main items to consider, probably in most people's priority order but if you say a Fiat 500 is the number one priority then so it is!

The Service This can be Civil or Catholic, legal or informal. Francavilla d'Ete has 2 beautiful churches whilst the Commune (town hall) is a small historic building in the ancient Piazza. For an informal service the choices are endless but include the loggia of a beautiful C15 church set in lovely gardens. These are all within 5 minutes drive of Casal dei Fichi. Even closer, under our pergola at the end of the pool with views of the Sibillini mountains. Or if you want really informal - in the pool! We will help you with all the requirements of a legal service and co-ordinate with the authorities here on your behalf. We can provide a facilitator to guide you through the promises that you have chosen to make each other together with a translator where necessary. |

Your Reception Our function room will comfortably accommodate 20 people for a full sit down meal. For larger parties we can organise a marquee (with heating if required) to cater for up to 50. We can also arrange events in local venues which can be as grand or simple as your taste and budget allows. When the weather permits we can arrange your reception on the 25m deck which runs alongside our pool. You might mingle and chat with your guests over a mouth watering buffet washed down with good honest wine from the local cantina or you could be welcomed with canapes and champagne and sit down to a sumptuous 5, 6 , 7... course banquet accompanied by fine wines of your choice. We will decorate the location to your taste, you can have cretton drapes, linen table cloths parchment table settings and fine table ware, alternatively you may prefer balloons and paper gingham table cloths. Whatever your budget you don't have to spend a fortune to make the venue look $1,000,000! |

The Beautiful Couple On your special day you want to look your best. We can arrange for a hairdresser, a beautician / manicurist and a masseuse to visit the house to ensure that one, or both of you, are relaxed and gorgeous. |

Flowers For our own ceremony we chose dramatic arrangements of Pretoria, birds of paradise flowers and kiwi fruit from Sabrina, our local florist. More traditionally she has created beautiful bouquets of roses for the bride and her attendants with matching table and cake decoration as well as button-holes and an arrangement for the honeymoon apartment. Depending on the time of year you can pick wild poppies or sunflowers and create dramatic displays. |

Cake Our friend Sandy bakes the most delicious traditional British wedding cakes. Or for the genuine Italian experience the local pasticceria will make a mouth watering Italian version as well as providing amazing dolce for your banquet. |

Photographer We are able recommend a local wedding photographer who will offer you a range of options. Your photos will be presented in a lavishly bound album. If you have a keen photographer in your party we can supply a tripod, flashlights, a digital SLR etc. We can also supply a videographer. |

Transport On your wedding day we can organise a range of vehicles to transport you and your guests to the venues. If you have been dieting in preparation of the big day you might want to squeeze into a classic Fiat 500! Maybe you would prefer a Ferrari or an Alfa-Romeo? Or perhaps a country horse and cart is more your style? For your guests we can provide a minibus which can also be used for airport pick ups or other excursions during their stay. |

Party If you want to bring your favourite artist from home we can organise a sound system and engineer. Or we can book local musicians, Marchigiani folk, opera, Italian classics. We can supply a DJ or if you prefer an iPod interface so you can play all your favourites. We can provide a buffet and a bar, either complimentary or pay to keep you and your guests merry all night. At midnight - or whenever, we can set off a real oooh and aaaah fireworks display and with no neighbours to disturb we can keep partying until you drop. |

Little Touches We'll provide the bonbonniere, traditional elaborately dressed Italian wedding favours of sugared almonds. Confetti... We make a computer connection available to your guests throughout the day so they can download their photos. During the evening party we can, if you wish, project this collage of informal memories to entertain you and your guests. Of course you get the cd to take home. |

Little People If you or your guests have children we can help to ensure that they are entertained, so making sure that everybody has a good time. We can organise baby sitting, children's entertainers, a bouncy castle etc. |

Before and after your Wedding We can organise airport transport for your wedding party. If lots of your guests are arriving on the same flight, a lovely way to start is by heading to an isolated beach for a delicious seafood lunch. Maybe the evening before your wedding you might like to host a pizza party where everyone gets the chance to make their own pizzas in our traditional outdoor oven to the accompaniment of a piano accordionist.
