How it works – we always think it’s best if we can meet each other first to talk through exactly what you want, show you the facilities and options available and to give you an opportunity to decide whether this is the place for you. We will gladly provide you with 2 or 3 nights accommodation, free of charge, so that you can get to know us, the area and meet some of the people who’ll help create your special day.
What we do – we will organise everything you need to make your day run like clockwork, including, but not restricted to:
making all of the arrangements with the Comune (town hall).
providing information and guidance so that you can obtain the correct documentation to get married in Italy.
liaising with the British Consulate to deal with any queries or issues.
working with all the local suppliers on your behalf.
And the fun things – we’ll show you the facilities we have on site for your reception, beautiful gardens for a buffet, a room for a more formal meal. If your group is larger you may prefer a bigger venue and we can introduce you to rustic rural locations with stunning views or elaborate venues with all the elegance you can imagine.
Many couples enjoy a pizza making party before the wedding, a great way to introduce people and catch up with everybody.
Practicalities – we will ensure all the things that are important to you are organised effectively:
Flowers – simple, formal, exotic or pick you own wild poppies, sunflowers…
Transport – of course we’ll make sure you both get there on time. We can also organise a minibus for your guests, airport collections etc.
Photographer – do you want a luxury album or a CD to print yourselves?
Entertainment – fireworks, grand opera, Italian folk, or simply an iPod connection so you can play your own music
Beauty – hairdresser, facials, nails, massage…
Cake – 3 tier, chocolate, fruit – you name it.
The list needn’t stop there. If you want a bouncy castle or children’s entertainer, a wine tasting for your guests, a balloon ride, whatever it is we’ll organise it for you.
What will it cost? – obviously that will depend on how many guests you have and how elaborate your wedding. We charge a fixed fee and having discussed your requirements we will provide you with an estimate of all of the costs – we don’t mark up any of the prices so you simply pay for what you decide you want. We find that most people are pleasantly surprised with the cost, particularly when compared with the price of a wedding in the UK.
Our philosophy – we hope you have realised that our ambition is to provide the wedding or celebration of your dreams. We will happily give ideas and suggestions but will never interfere. We only organise a relatively small number of weddings so you will receive our personal attention and we still get a thrill from helping to make your day magical for you.
